The mold is made to hold a plastic tube inside it. The piece on the right is used to show the wood peg that has been attached to the inside bottom of the mold. Just to show you how the wood peg is used, here we have removed the outside of the mold. The bottom of the wood peg has a diameter that is slightly larger than the rest of the peg. The reason for the larger diameter is explained in a later step.
