Titanium dioxide is a white, sticky powder and is used to create white color for carved candles. It is usually used in combination with stearic acid powder. To make the white color, first add one measure of stearic powder to the melted wax, stir it in, and then add four measures of titanium dioxide, and stir it in well. For a full Candlefun wax well, add 5 heaping tablespoons of stearic powder and 20 heaping tablespoons of titanium dioxide. Some candle carvers prefer stronger white colors... if that is your preference, you can add more of both powders.

There are many brands and grades of titanium dioxide on the market... the grade sold by Candlefun is the highest grade available.
